Great read. In the process of planning for next year! Will you be posting the Disney part?

Staying on the Disney property was so part of the charm. The Mickey charter bus from the airport was a nice beginning. The rooms are on theme and ok but the lobbies and dining areas are so enjoyable and with the food passes the quick grab options and easy dinners were so helpful with small kids. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, easy access to magic kingdom, great pool that the kids loved and it was fun to be able to take their boat taxi back over to watch the evening parade and mill around the shops. Easy to grab shuttles to other properties. The evening Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios was really great as well. I find a lot of people don’t know about it. The kids loved the buffet at Hollywood & Vine I think it was called. Sounds like you had a great time - now I have to check out your beach stay.

Despite my in-laws having a home in Florida, we successfully resisted Disney World. Our children's "amusement park" needs were successfully met driving 50 miles to one in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cha-ching!
