I discovered BorrowBox here in Australia during the pandemic as library closed. You’re right about the limited range of books but it is very good for people who can’t afford the costs of books. I’m hoping your book makes it onto the list Ruth. It’s not there yet but I’ll keep trying.

Another BorrowBox fan here! Because I am a nerd I check it every day and just see if anything has been added to the “New to Library” list…that way I don’t usually have to wait long for any exciting new releases!

I also just impulsively splashed out on the Kerastase Chroma Absolu Masque Chroma Filler (just copied and pasted that absolute mouthful from the website!) and it’s brilliant too. I like a conditioner turn my thick straight hair into strong, clean feeling hair - like a sleek horses tail for want of a better description, not all soft and fluffy feeling. Also a shout out to Colour Wow Money Mask for a similar feeling with less of a heavy fragrance.

Thank you for all the recommendations!

My library service has Borrowbox and Libby which is books and audio books. So might worth checking your library website to see if Libby is also offered. No idea whether the catalogue varies between the two however.

Will do, thank you!

I love BorrowBox, I’ve been using it for years! Supplemented by audible credits it works so well for me. I have the app on my iPad for the ebooks and that works really well too.

I can’t believe I’ve only just heard about it!

The app itself could do with a little update (bookmarks please!) but otherwise I love the service. I even emailed my library once to ask them if they can acquire some books, they said they welcome requests but sadly the books I was after weren’t available 😭
